Fishing
Fishing in the Havel and other lakes
Fishing is fun and brings relaxation during your boat vacation. In our waters it is allowed to fish only with a valid fishing permit and an additional ticket (available at our port store).
Everywhere in Germany a fixed rule applies. If you want to fish, you must have a valid fishing license. This is always to be done. Anyone who can not show it to angling will be in breach of the existing regulations and may also face fines. Exceptions nevertheless exist, but can also be found in a wide variety of forms. Thus, the state of Brandenburg has been offering the fishing of fried fish since the last time, even without fishing.
This regulation applies to the entire lake country. However, an ID document must be kept. There are no separate examinations or certificates in Brandenburg. However, open-hearted invitations can hardly be found elsewhere. An exception are private micro-waters, which are also often fished without fishing. But here, too, there are very different conditions from state to country. Source: http://www.angelschein.net/fischereischein/
Fishing in Havelland
The Havelland between Havelberg and Potsdam offers the recreational traveler with the Havel and the Havelseen, as well as the canals and earth holes excellent opportunities to pursue his fishing passion extensively. In the watershed area between Ketzin, Lehnin, Wusterwitz and Pritzerbe there are around fifty designated fish waters. The most famous and culinary most popular fish in the Havelland fish district is the Havelzander. But you will also find many other species, such as eels, perch, pike and roach, which bite your luck with their luck. Anyone who is restricted to such fishes as roach, grayling or bream may also eject the fishing rod without any fish test. For this you only need an angling card (available as day, week and year). The license will also be paid with the purchase. More Infos at Havelland-Tourism…
You have a valid license: In addition to your license you need a ticket for the yellow, green or blue fishing area according to the table & card below. The license is actually valid when you have paid the state fee of the respective federal state and can show proof of that.
If you do not have a valid license or you cannot prove this: : You require a ticket for the yellow, green or blue fish area according to the table & card below. If you want to fish in several areas you need several tickets.
In addition, you need a license fee tag for Brandenburg. That costs 12.00 EUR for adults and 2.50 EUR for 8-17-year old children and is valid for the remainder of the calendar year of purchase. Applies only to one (not more!) fish rod for non-predatory fish. Available at the Marina Old Port Mildenberg (yellow fishing area) and wherever tickets are sold.
Where can you fish with the ticket?
All prices mentioned are for a weekly ticket; predator fishing only with official license.
Effective May 2014, no liability assumed.
