Hike to the monastery Zehdenick
The monastery Zehdenick was a Cistercian monastery (probably) founded in 1250 in Zehdenick, which consisted of the Reformation, which had been established in the Brandenburg of Brandenburg until 1541. The buildings were destroyed in the Thirty Years’ War up to a few remains. Around the ruins of the convent building is a tree-strong ivy, which is to be the oldest representative of its kind in Europe. Well preserved are the north wing with crosstown from the 14./15. Century and the pediment of the 13th century convent building, as well as the former monastery of the monastery, which now houses the convent gallery.
